Description
Boat part number 7300033 is a new diagnostic port from Mercury Marine / Mercruiser, part number 8M0046339 . Commonly used on Thunder Jet Boats, part number unavailable, but may be used on other boats.
This diagnostic port provides an easy external access connection to the main engine (starboard engine for multi-engine applications) junction box for updating software, configuring the helm, and troubleshooting with the computer diagnostic system (CDS) or CDS G3 SmartCraft diagnostic interface tool. This diagnostic port does not need to be mounted on the dashboard if space is limited, but can be mounted under the dashboard, or in the cabin at an inconspicuous, but accessible location. Connects with a 10 pin yellow CAN data harness that connects to the main engine junction box which connects to the diagnostic port (harness not included). Measures 2 3/4" long x 2 3/8" diameter overall.
